Creative. Where the Values Revolution meets the Digital Revolution.
Walk in tired, walk out inspired.
Okay. Maybe it’s been a long week. But hey, it’s Thursday. So come relax and enjoy a creative evening with Emmy Award-winning Producer and current Executive Creative Director @ GOOD/Corps, Kirk Souder.
As the new ECD of GOOD/Corps, Kirk is helping brands align business strategy with positive social impact.
Kirk won an Emmy in 2010 as an executive producer and co-creator of concept on the film Art & Copy, one of only 15 documentaries comprising the Official List at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Additional, he’s won every major creative award in the global advertising arena, including Cannes Gold and Silver Lions.
Kirk’s also served as a judge on advertising award competitions worldwide, and for two years as a member of the One Club’s Board of Directors. He’s been invited to speak on the power of creativity from New York to Amsterdam to Hong Kong. And now a mile high up, right here in our own backyard.
So come pull up a chair, kick back, and enjoy a healthy dose of inspiration as Ad Club Denver presents Kirk Souder.

Ad Legend Luke Sullivan Gets To The Point:
HOW TO SUCK LESS!
This wasn’t so much just a talk about advertising. If anything, it was about how Luke Sullivan has himself sucked. But in doing so he has discovered certain truths about human nature.

That was the takeaway of February 10th’s sold-out talk with the iconic writer. Fear, laziness and arrogance are the enemies of greatness. We all have those qualities. The key to sucking less is in how we manage them. It was the same plainspoken, Midwest honesty that made his book, Hey Whipple, Squeeze This.” into the industry bible that it is.

Richard Lent, founder and CEO of AgencyNet, started his remarkably candid presentation with a brief synopsis of the challenges facing the digital industry.
”We are in a fast-changing, nascent industry. We are asked to innovate, to create brand new solutions to problems every day. We are asked to pre-price that innovation. We are often asked to deliver those solutions under unrealistic timelines. Design is one of the most subjective deliverables on earth. And complicating the matter, we have spoiled our clients over the last half a century.”
To face these challenges, Lent shared his dirty dozen; twelve secrets to the success of his business.
